Jimbo Phillips is an artist from Santa Cruz, California. He started in the art world with his father Jim Phillips, a Santa Cruz Skateboard graphic artist. He is also the inventor of the famous “Screaming Hand” logo.

In the 90's, Jimbo Phillips created his own graphic art company and collaborated with several brands, notably skateboarding.

Wasted Paris asked Jimbo to give his interpretation of French clichés. He was interested in the famous Place de la République, a spot where skaters from all over the world come to meet. This collaboration is Jimbo Phillips' vision of French symbols through his sparkling art.
