Wasted Paris and Halfpipe Records reunite after three years of collaboration for "I Wasted My Best Years Clubbing," a limited edition track jacket celebrating their shared community, Paris nightlife, and the culture built around late nights and music.
Launched in 2022 by the trio of Matthieu, Thomas, and Paul, known behind the decks as Albré, Lespol, and Emi On Skis, Halfpipe Records has grown from a Paris record label into a full artistic project combining music, events, and a clothing brand. What set the collective apart from the start was its refusal to separate two worlds that rarely meet: club culture and skate culture.
Their signature move is literal, building skate ramps directly on the dancefloor at their events, most notably their now-cult "Nollie in the Club" nights at La Machine du Moulin Rouge in Pigalle.
Sonically, Halfpipe moves across UK garage, bass, and tech house, while staying open to indie, pop, and electronica, a hybridity that mirrors the mix of people it draws. Since 2022, the label has filled venues of 1,500+ capacity across Paris and France, and brought international artists such as Sammy Virji, Y U QT, and Oppidan to France for the first time.
In 2025, the project started resonating beyond French borders, building connections across Europe and reaching toward the US scene.
For Wasted and Halfpipe, this reunion is less a one-off drop than the continuation of a relationship built over years around the same instinct: that nightlife, skateboarding, and the community around them all come from the same place.
"I Wasted My Best Years Clubbing" carries that history on a single jacket.
